Terms of Service (Bus Booking)

Last updated: July 2026

GoroBus operates strictly as a digital marketplace and technology platform connecting travelers with independent, authorized bus operators.

Effective Date: July 2026

1. INTERMEDIARY TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM

GoroBus (hereinafter referred to as "GoroBus", "Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates strictly as a digital marketplace and technology platform that connects intending travelers ("User" or "you") with independent, authorized bus operators.

GoroBus does not own, lease, manage, or operate any physical buses, coaches, or transit fleets. We do not provide direct transportation services ourselves. The contract for physical travel and carriage is exclusively between you and the respective bus operator.

2. LOGISTICAL INFORMATION & TIMINGS

All details displayed on GoroBus channels—including seat availability, bus types, amenities (like AC, Wi-Fi, charging points), ticket fares, routes, and schedules—are provided directly by the respective bus operators. GoroBus acts as a facilitator and has no direct control over sudden schedule alterations, description changes, or data updates made by the operators.

3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

As a digital facilitator, GoroBus completely disclaims any liability arising from the physical operations of the bus operators. GoroBus shall not be held responsible for:

  • Any delays in the departure or arrival of the bus.
  • The behavior, conduct, or service quality of the bus operator’s staff, drivers, or conductors.
  • The physical condition of the bus, seats, or unfulfilled expectations regarding on-board amenities.
  • Cancellation of the trip or route alterations due to mechanical failure, weather, or regulatory actions.
  • Any loss, theft, or damage to the baggage and personal belongings of the passenger.
  • The bus operator shifting or changing your allocated seat number for operational reasons.
  • Wrong or altered boarding/pick-up points communicated by the operator's ground team.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES & MANDATES

When booking a ticket through GoroBus, passengers must adhere to the following rules:

  • Passengers are advised to contact the bus operator directly via the contact number provided on the ticket to confirm the exact boarding location and real-time status before travel.
  • At the time of boarding, the passenger must present a valid copy of the GoroBus digital ticket along with a government-issued photo ID proof.
  • Passengers must reach the designated boarding point at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
  • All tickets booked through GoroBus are non-transferable and can only be used by the passenger whose details are registered on the ticket.

5. CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

  • Cancellations: Ticket cancellations can be processed by the user directly through the '/manage' dashboard on our website/app, or by contacting our support team.
  • Fees: All cancellations are subject to the specific cancellation charges and platform fees displayed at the time of booking.
  • Rescheduling: Date or time changes are permitted only by select operators. Any fare difference resulting from a change to a higher-priced ticket must be borne by the user. If the new ticket is cheaper, the difference is non-refundable. Once a ticket is rescheduled, it cannot be canceled.

6. CHARGES & SECURE TRANSACTIONS

The total amount charged at checkout includes the base passenger fare set by the operator, our platform service fees, and applicable government taxes (including GST). All online payments are securely processed via standard encrypted gateways.

7. GOVERNING LAW & MAXIMUM REMEDY

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh. The maximum financial liability of GoroBus for any transactional failure or dispute shall not exceed the net baseline amount paid by the user for that specific booking.
